Keling! Keling! Keling! Are you Happy now?

Recently, incidents of school teacher’s physically and verbally abusing students of Indian origin have been on the rise in Malaysia, and in some instances, teachers even called the Indian students by derogatory names. The latest case is in SMK Darul Ehsan, where a schools teacher called an Indian student 'anjing' (dog) and 'keling’. In many other cases, Indian students were verbally abused, slapped, kicked, punched and caned by the teachers without proper justification made.

I dont't know whether my Malay friends are satisfied when they are calling me as 'keling'. Why are they behaving so cheaply? I don’t surprise on the word ‘keling’, even until now my course mates (future teachers) are calling me as keeling as well. No wonder in school they are practicing the same words again and again. When I was small, my Malay and Chinese friends used to call my ‘keling’; in fact, they learnt the word from their parents and teachers.

CIK RUSHITA (THE TEACHER)
THE CASE THAT HAPPENED JUST SEVERAL MONTHS AGO

Keling is widely used in a derogatory manner by Malaysian. The words like, ‘keling anjing’, ‘keling pariah’, ‘keling hitam’, 'black monkeys', 'Negroes' and 'keling pariah' are hurting a lot, but some of Malay friends still using to to insult Malaysian Indians. Did Malaysian Indians used term of such words to refer Chinese or Malays? We call you ‘chinan’ and ‘malaykaran’ (Tamil), which means Chinese and Malay people in English. Why you can't call us as Indian? In more appropriate way, we must not practice such words to divide us, please start refer us as Malaysian. We are one, we already shared one place to live since generations. So, Why this kind of intimidation towards Malaysian Indian? WHY ARE YOU SO RACIST?

Malaysian Indian parents are lodging a lot of reports against those teachers who physically or verbally abusing students, but no proper action taken by education ministry. Education Ministry’s silent in this issues make me think that they are encouraging such abuses. Let me tell you frankly, we are seriously going backward in building Bangsa Malaysia.

Uthayakumar, Malaysian Indian always with you!

UTHAYAKUMAR, HINDRAF LAWYER

Mr Uthaya is now suffering from Diabetes, high blood pressure and also fractured toes. Due to the fractured toes, doctor advised him not to walk. This cruel government trying to kill him silently. The refusal of the police and prison authorities to provide him proper treatment, and not removing sugar from his diet, shows that the authorities are trying to ' finish' him off in detention. No proper treatment given to his fractured toes makes the situation worst.

UTHAYA'S FRACTURED TOES

As we know, his contribution towards Indian community in Malaysia undeniable, the whole world knows that Malaysian Indian under marginalisation since HINDRAF mass rally on 25 November 2007. Lets we all not forget his sacrifices for us.

Knowing that he would be arrested under ISA, thus he left two parting videos for his supporters. In the video Uthaya thanked HINDRAF supporters for their support and reminded them to be peaceful and not to resort to violence. He was arrested under Internal Security Act (ISA) in December 13, 2007, along with M. Manoharan, V. S. Ganapathy Rao, K. Kengadhadran and T. Vasantha Kumar.

Mr. Uthaya was brought up in Kelantan, where 99 percent of the population is Malay. He also wore a pin of the Malaysian flag on his blazer during his student times, despite the fact that his friends poked fun at him. Another interesting story about him, he revealed that he had a Malay girlfriend for five years, but because he had to convert to Islam to marry her, it forced him to go his separate way.

When Mr. Utaya started his legal firm, he placed a Malaysian flag on his working desk. That show how patriotic he was. He also stated that he had no problems with the Malay people as much as he had problems with the UMNO led government. He took off the flag that he put on nhis working desk after the Kampung Medan incident because;

“I believe that as much as I want to be Malaysian, the Malay majority Muslim do not want me as a Malaysian, they do not recognize me as a Malaysian, and they do not accept me as a Malaysian”

We are clear on why Mr.Uthayakumar has lead Malaysian Indian to fight for rights with the name of HINDRAF, the main reason should be when the government not respecting and continuously neglecting the equal rights and opportunity of the minority. May God protect he and all ISA detainees from evil and harm! Threat Mr Uthaya in proper way, give him the rights of receiving good medical treatments! Struggles continue......

Hilmi Malek, The Culprit

HILMI MALEK, ELIZEBETH WONG'S EX-BOYFRIEND

It is widely report that the 'culprit' who exposed the nude photos and video of State Assemblywoman and Selangor State Executive Councillor Elizabeth Wong is her ex-lover, a muslim, Hilmi Malek who worked as a Special Assistant to MP for Petaling Jaya Selatan, Hee Loy Sian, who has resigned since January.

With this revelation, it seems that Hilmi had committed a serious offence under civil law for invasion of privacy and in Syariah law for khalwat and zina. It was further reported that the police have started questioning the Malay Mail daily newspaper reporters on the photos but it was revealed that Hilmi is on the run and unable to be contacted.

The pictures show she was sleeping on the sofa of her Bukit Gasing home and the other was taken at an angle that showed her private parts. In the meeting with Malay Mail editors last Friday, Wong had maintained that these pictures were taken without her consent and that the identity of the photographer was unknown. Wong, who had expressed her shock when informed of the pictures, had said that it was an intrusion of her privacy.

I believe if police start questioning Hilmi, he will exposed the big names that involved in the circulation of Eli’s nude pictures.

Mahathir s/o Iskandar Kutty a.k.a Mahathir bin Mohamed

TUN DR MAHATHIR'S HOMETOWN (KERALA)

Mahathir's forefathers are from South India in Kerala state. Mahathir was born and named as Mahathir s/o Iskandar Kutty @Mahathir Mohamed. Mahathir's father, (Iskandar Kutty) was a school teacher of Indian origin, specifically Malayalam (people in South India, Kerala state), having migrated from the southern state of Kerala.

He is the fourth Prime Minister of Malaysia which he held for 22 years. From 1981 to 2003, he is the country's longest serving Prime Minister as well as in the whole of Asia. Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad started life not as Malay but as Malayali -the people of Kerala in south India, where his father came from. When he was studying in a university in Singapore, Mahathir was listed as an indian.

Mahathir is full of paradoxes on racial issues. Many of his policies have had the effect of reducing the racial element in government decisions, watering down the agenda to advance malay interests. But in fact he failed to protect and maintain the immunity of Malay rulers. Yet, despite his trumpeting of Asian identity, Mahathir appears ashamed to admit his Indian heritage.

In his new book, A New Deal for Asia, he writes about his father in such a way as to imply that he was Malay dedicated to the improvement of his fellow Malays rather than the hard-working Indian immigrant and government servant that he was. He forgotten his root as well.
