Chin Peng is a Malaysian, So let him Come Back to Malaysia!

CHIN PENG DEVELOPED NATIONALIST AND COMMUNIST BELIEFS

In 2000, Chin Peng applied to be permitted back into Malaysia, and a complex legal issue has arisen out of this. Hearings on whether to permit his return to Malaysia were scheduled for May 25, 2005 but the High Court postponed the hearing to July 25, when his application to be allowed to return to Malaysia was rejected.

His return is opposed by victims of attacks committed by the Communist Party of Malaya, those who served in the armed forces during the Emergency, and members of the public. There has been a resurgence of accounts of the alleged atrocities the Communist Party of Malaya committed in newspapers by those who are against his return to Malaysia (such as the Ex-Serviceman's Association of Malaysia). Chin Peng has lived in exile in southern Thailand and has also given lectures in the National University of Singapore. The current Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Badawi, suggested the Government might reconsider its position in the future. He said he would wait for the outcome of the Court case before making a decision.

CHIN PENG

In June 2008, Chin Peng again lost his bid to return to Malaysia when the Court of Appeal upheld an earlier ruling that compel him to show identification papers to prove his citizenship. Chin Peng maintained that his birth certificate was seized by the police during a raid in 1948. His counsel, Raja Aziz Addruse, had submitted before the Court of Appeal that it was wrong for the Malaysia government to compel him to produce the documents because he was entitled to enter and live in Malaysia by virtue of the agreement.

When Chin Peng's parents are already obviously dead, old as they must have been, this is the time for the other relatives of Chin Peng, mainly, his own brothers and sisters who are still alive, and also, his own children, to assist him now, and probably have some DNA testings done so as to ascertain the reality of the birth and existence of such a person named Tan Boon Hua, also, known as Chin Peng, to have been born in Sitiawan, Perak - some 84 years ago.

It is not impossible for the records of Chin Peng's birth to have been lost by the authorities concerned - in this relevant time. However, since the keeping of such records is not within the control of Chin Peng, he ought not to be blamed when the authorities cannot trace their records of his birth which might have been kept some 84 years ago. What about the records of his parents, and also, those of their deaths (certificates)? If it had been recorded that his parents had been citizens, then "BY OPERATION OF LAW", Chin Peng ought to be a citizen as well.

I think he is not a threat to government, and I'm really sure that his age not allow him to re-emerge as a fighter. It is indeed a great honor to our country that Chin Peng, after all his sojourns, have decided to come back home to Malaysia to breathe his last at 84. It hurts him a lot when denied to return to his homeland. Just think of our feelings if we are in his situation. Definitely, it will be good for us to fulfill his last request.

A University Student Forced to Pay RM50: Saya Anti Rasuah or Saya Nanti Rasuah?

A student from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNITAR) Kelana Jaya Campus force to pay RM50 for the traffic offense that they have done. They traffic police officer force him to pay RM50 instead of issuing summonses. Although the University student admit his offense and wanted a summon notice than giving bribe to the officer, the officer rejected his request and continuously forced him to pay RM50.

The whole incident happened yesterday evening, when the student did not wear helmet and rode motorcycle. A policeman caught the student and straight away asks for RM50. When the student refuse to pay, the officer said he wanted the sum of money then only he will let the student go from the place. The police declined to receive it directly through the hand, so he had ordered the student to put the money at the back box of the officer’s motor.

And at the same time, the student brilliantly captured few pictures for evidence to lodge report later on, the pictures taken when the police ask over money for him. The most shameful part of the incident was when the students warned the policeman that he will lodge an official report to police on what had happened, the officer decided to return his money back.

This is the shameful attitude of the most Malaysian police officers. If this trend continues, we are going to live in a failed nation of course. Destroy the corruption before it destroys your nation! The student did a very good job as a responsible citizen. Although he had done traffic offense he did not wanted to escape from legal punishment and daringly face the law.

Compare the student to the officer that wearing the badge ‘Saya Anti Rasuah’ and ‘INTEGRITI AMALAN KITA’. Tell me who is the real responsible citizen?

THIS WAS WHERE THE STUDENT ORDERED TO PUT RM50 BY THE OFFICER

THE BIKE OF THE INVOLVED OFFICER

THE OFFICER, (MR KHAN)

One People, One Nation… Possible?

Of course it is possible to have one people, one nation. Why is it that after more than 5 decades of nationhood, we are not one people, one nation? Well, we have the politicians to thank for that. They made sure that there would not be a united Malaysian nation sharing a common destiny with a single system and policy for all.

By purposeful design they keep us apart, desegregated through policies that cause anger and hate. They discriminated along racial and religious line. The reward a group of people and deprive another group, by this kind of selective policies and unfair implementations, they have divided us for their own political survival.

Sadly, these politicians who fan the flames of polarization for their personal benefits, they want to seen as champions for their community. They have constantly portrayed certain issue as being under threat and project themselves as standing for those rights. These short-term and shortsighted politicians are the serious obstacle to our unity.

Let me tell you that they will proclaim that others are out to grab their economic share of the cake. He will kiss the keris, while some stupid people like me demand to know why the keris used. He won’t be warned for the racial slurs but he will stand out as the hero of his community.

But when people come together on common issues that unite them irrespective of their ethnicity such as fuel hike protests, toll hike protests, BERSIH rally, Reformasi rallies and so on. The gatherings will be brutally dispersed. Truncheons used to beat up peaceful people and chemically laced water used to disperse the crowd that also had women and children in between the crowd.

What you say? They will not allow unity to be forged on common reasons, because this will be seen as a threat to their power and position. One people, one nation goal is possible only if our politicians willing to change their mindset.

Mat Rempits a.k.a Mat Beruks

MAT REMPIT A.K.A MAT BERUK

Mat Rempit is a Malaysian term for 'an individual who participates in illegal street racing', usually involving underbone motorcycles (colloquially known as Kapcai) or scooters. Not all Mat Rempits are involved in street racing; some of them perform crazy stunts for fun, such as the wheelie, superman (lying flat on the seat), wikang, and scorpion (standing on the seat with one leg during a wheelie).

Additionally, some Mat Rempits do not have valid motorcycle licenses, do not pay road taxes, and ride stolen motorcycles. A growing number of housing estates have also been turned into racing tracks. It is estimated that there are about 200,000 Mat Rempits in Malaysia. Initially Mat Rempit community only has Malays as their members, but now Malaysian Chinese and Malaysian Indian youngsters also involving in this sickening culture.

The controversy that created a stir among Malaysians was the unsuccessful attempt by Khairy Kamaluddin and Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim to rebrand "Mat Rempits" as "Mat Cemerlang" during the campaign of the march 8 General Election. "Mat Rempit" is a derogatory term used to refer to youths who aim to win drugs, prostitutes and cash in illegal racings using illegally-modified motorcycles. Mat Rempits involve in all criminal activities, do you think UMNO politicians can rebrand them to ‘Mat Cemerlang”?

Some analysts believe that UMNO Youth is cashing on the large numbers of "Mat Rempits" in Malaysia as preparation for the elections. The suggestion by Khairy that "Mat Rempits" should become the "Eyes and Ears" for the Malaysian Police Force has sparked anger among former victims of "Mat Rempits", who previously had their vehicles smashed by "Mat Rempits".

Khairy even organized a Mat Rempit gathering in Kuala Lumpur and thousands of "Mat Rempits" attended it. It's a pity for Malaysians for having this young beruk sibling as their UMNO deputy youth leader (former now youth leader). He should be sent to the jungle along with the "Mat Rempits" where they can have a peaceful life with their ancestors, the monkeys.

If UMNO politicians continuously ignoring the mounting culture of Mat Rempits, definitely our future generations going to live in a failed nation. In recent times, Mat Rempits have been linked to gangsterism, gang robbery, street fighting, assault, vandalism, theft and bullying. The public are worrying of the safety of their life and property at all times just because of these stupid Mat Rempits.

Some of our politicians are awarding them instead of put them behind the bar. After this, I suggest all Malaysian to call Mat Rempit as Mat Beruk instead of calling them Mat Cemerlang.
