Bangsa Malaysia hope for 2010: Happy New Year 2010
A lot of thing I learnt since I started to blog. I wrote my personal view on nation’s politics, education, sports, leadership, economy and several other fields, eventually received a lot of feedback from readers, some of them supported me and another group of them criticised and screwed me indeed. I begin New Year with new hope for my beloved Malaysian.
In conjunction with New Year, I have list of hopes to change Malaysia to be the best. I'm confident that most of the Malaysians hope as well same with mine. Truly speaking, Malaysia left out far from the developed nation status. We owned third class facilities and mentalities, not much things to proud of. Our leaders love to blame others, instead learn from the first world nations.
In year 2010, same as previous years I hope dramatic changes on our,
Politics and electoral system:
- two party system solid coalitions of (BN-PR), proven effectiveness in United States, Britain, and Canada, has proven system's effectiveness
- more clean and transparent Election Commission
- emphasis people’s need first before party ideology
Education:
- single school system agreed by all (without effecting mother tongue)
- abolish quota system bring again merit system
- higher education students allowed to involved in politics
- problematic and racist teacher needs to be suspended and punished according to their disciplinary misbehaves
Sports:
- reform national football team again as it was in 70’s and 80’s with a bag of multiracial players
- hope to see more world champions for example Lee Chong Wei and Nicol David
Leadership:
- its doesn't matter lead the nation, must be fair and give equal rights to everyone despite the diversity of race and religion
- not only take care of their and family members and cronies
Law/judiciary:
- abolish Internal Security Act (ISA), the law that haunting social activist, opposition leaders and race based organization leaders from time to time
- abolish other act as well, including AUKU and OSA
- judiciary system must stay apolitical, uncorrupted and unbiased
Economy:
- special plan by government to eradicate poverty
- fuel price strictly follow the world price
- government must stop waste taxpayers money and nations wealth on unprofitable projects and expends
- old budget updated immediately in subsequent to the world economic crisis
Security and enforcement:
- take action on policeman who abuse their power
- immediately suspend authority who proven involved in corruption
- set up special squad to reduce and combat crime rate in the affected housing area
- police to stop their brutality towards people

Top 10 Airlines worldwide: Congratulation to MAS
Malaysia Air-lines (MAS) was ranked eighth best in the world by the dedicated travel magazine for Asia, Smart Travel Asia. This sees the national carrier in a tie with Lufthansa and moving up one rank from last year. Once again, we are amongst the world’s top 10 best airlines and have moved up one rank and hope MAS continue to focus on what matters most to the customers. Read here- Best Airlines Worldwide
MAS customers will be amongst the first to enjoy the new, spacious 737-800 Boeing Sky Interior as it is the second airline in the world to take delivery of the aircraft beginning next year. It will also begin flying the A380 in 2011 and are currently reviewing orders for widebody aircraft. In two other categories, MAS ranked fifth in Top 10 Airlines, Cabin Service, and eighth in Top 10 Airlines Business Class.
The Best in Travel 2009 Poll by Smart Travel Asia is all about readers’ perceptions and favourite travel brands and ran for three months from May. The selection criteria was based on a combination of actual travel experience, word-of-mouth and an idea of the brand drawn from advertising and editorial exposure in the media, primarily online.
Congratulation to Malaysian Airlines (MAS) on the achievement. Hope it maintains its consistency to be among the best airlines worldwide in the following years.

Malaysia at 52: "1Malaysia. People First. Performance Now."?
"1Malaysia. People First. Performance Now."? '1Malaysia' are parroted in the various media channel like a new shape of Malaysia. It seems like PM Mr Najib admit that the previous premierships were divided into ‘several Malaysia’. In fact, I heard about his ‘1Malaysia’, but I don't really get what's the true meaning of '1Malaysia'. All I understand is, I am born in this land and this is my home. Having born after the country's Independence, I do have a hard time struggling with the true meaning of Merdeka. And for me Merdeka is all about democracy and liberty.
Can a nation with mounting racism, slanders, violence, deceptions, autocracies, corruptions, abuse of power, silencing dissent, fear of the people, politicians hunger for power, political persecutions everywhere accepted as truly Merdeka state? Despite the 1Malaysia concept emphasised by our new premier, multiracial Malaysians still being ‘divide and rule’. Racial politics and race-based organisations still championing for their own ethnic and definitely not for '1Malaysia'. Nothing had been change since colonial British left Malaya 52 years ago.
The Shah Alam sec 23 Hindu temple relocation protest, Kampung Buah Pala fiasco, Teoh Beng Hock’s ‘murder’, Perak constitution Crisis, custody deaths, money politics and much more shameful incidents haunting Malaysia at its 52. Are we truly Merdeka then? What are the differences between colonisers (British, Japanese, Portuguese and etc) and local leaders if all of them never respect freedom, justice, truth and people’s welfare?

My 2009 New Year Hope for Bangsa Malaysia
