Seal The Tamil Schools With A Condition (Part One)

If there are any suggestion to close down Tamil schools, I have to agree for it. But one condition please suggest making Tamil as compulsory subject for students too at the same time. Each year, one by one Tamil school have been closed despite the number of students, and some of students are not get opportunity to learn Tamil because they are not from Tamil school background. In fact, we lost our language and schools too.

What I'm trying to tell you is we must defend our language, if Tamil schools really a problem, then it should close down but with condition that Tamil made compulsory to all Tamil students. What’s the point Tamil schools struggling with a lot of problems nowadays. Gangsterism, lack of basic facilities such as classroom, toilet, field and the insufficient of students in estate and rural schools, these are the crisis faced by Tamil schools since 1957.

I love Tamil schools, personally I’m not from Tamil schools but I know the pain when one not get opportunity to start primary education in there. I don't mind the schools closed as long as the Tamil language survives. I learnt Tamil by my own. Sometimes my friends tease me that 'your thaimozhi (mother tongue) is Telugu', I reply them that you must be proud when other people learning your language and label it as their own 'Thaimozhi'. Such a low mentality of Tamils in Malaysia will destroy their own language.

Currently, most of the Tamil students not going to Tamil schools not because they don't love the Tamil language but they don't like the schools surrounding mainly because lack of basic facilities and the problems that I have stated above. If Malaysian Indian not agreeing to close down Tamil schools, then the government should allocates sufficient money and carry out proper strategies to solve the problems today. Pointing out the problem is not the solution, the majority of our Tamil schools no progression since independent and we are moving backward whereas national schools and Chinese vernacular schools are developing tremendously.

Some of the Malaysian Indian parents totally lost confident on Tamil schools. They not satisfied with the Tamil schools condition and surrounding. What they should do? They of course want their children to study in conducive environments, so they change their mind and made decision to send their children to any schools either National schools or Chinese vernacular schools and completely rejected Tamil schools. The long term effect is on our Tamil language and Tamil schools. We must ensure our language survives, so that I don’t mind if schools removed.

Let me give you an example, Singapore government made Tamil as compulsory subject to all Tamils there, they also give additional salaries to the teachers that able to teach Tamil. Tamil is one of their national languages. How about Malaysia? Any plan? No at all! Each year we know that they are some allocation from the government but where the money goes?

I only see few Tamil schools are in good conditions, don’t tell me that ‘we are started to rebrand and structuring strategies for Tamil schools’. What the hell? After few decades you have just started to look on the Tamil schools?

Close down the schools if no one care about it, but make Tamil compulsory to all Malaysian Indian students in Malaysia. Some politician fooling the Makkal (people) by politicizing the Tamil schools, do we need such politician to defend Tamil schools? They are emphasizing on their political agenda more than on Tamil language. Don’t cheat the people with empty promises! Make sure Tamil survives in Malaysia!

There will be a lot of negative impact if Tamil school closed.

1. Many indians will lose opportunity to become teacher. As we know national schools already not taking indians as teacher if take also very less, about 0.001%. In national sch, umno will keep only one or two teachers to teach tamil for all standard.

2. We will lose cultural identity. They will close down 1st then wont introduce tamil as compulsory subject. UMNO will create 101 reasons and keep us losing our language.

3. Many more.

Their policies are simple, as we failed to keep, learn and practice our language, culture and religion, we will become weak and easy for them to step on us.

then bro VJ are you love to see we loosing both language and schools in Malaysia?

Please think we as Malaysian, take Singapore as an example...

how we going to united, throw away racist mind... and sure we must not give up our language, religion and culture....

its doesn't mean that if we give up our Tamil schools mean we lost our identity....

try to accept the current situation that we going to lost everything..

i agree...we need to close down tamil schools. instead of spending so called millions , might as well ,we provide tamil language class in schools...make it compulsory at least for primary level. i do not believe that it should be made compulsory in secondary school(itz must be optional in secondary) as we need to focus time in grasping important science and maths concept in secondary level.
this have been brought up by tan sri ramon navaratnam(google him..president of MAlaysia TI and pro-chanselor of sunway college...do google him) but tamil paper manipulate him and samy vellu lamabasted him(recently ramon ask samy to retire gracefully). u could all us a favour by sending a email to our pm regarding tamil schools coz MIC has been providing the wrong info tht majority tamil want tamil school. Millions have been poured in to construt tamil school each budget , but i have not heard or any tamil school getting impresive results of infrastructure. Alas , every indian shld harp on education and economic issue rather then politics or equal rights. Can nt blame the Government nt hearing us coz our economic equity is only 1.5%( not to blame government ....the blame is the so called only indian repsentive in government).

skywalker said...

what VJ say is true...tht be few indian teacher only employed to teach tamil...but that is a non issue. indian teacher must competent. there is abundance oppurtunity in private sector.Indians must be competent...there is oppurtunity overseas

when comes to education ,UMNO will take in indian teacher ...which are good coz they will educate better malays. VJ's argument hence is invalid and this is the argument tht have been use by MIC. hence see the big picture ,dude. who cares abt indian teacher who lazy to teacher and only can talk utter rubish.

A lot indian will not send their kids to tamil school(including Me). I want my kids to grow up in multiracial background and expose to various kinda of mentality. This important because if we want to embrace globalization.

lastly , i AGREE fully on vasan's idea and will definately back him up. and vasan please.,....no ralies ok..in this case , the change for the indians. we need to tell government to stop building new tamil schools and close dillapited once. did u know that it is compulsory for government school to teach tamil if they get a class of more then 15 people(and maintain attendance). this applies to agama islam as well(thtz why some chinese school teach agama. there even special division in MOE for tamil school. sometimes , the governent do try to help us. juz some bugger in tht so called represent us often give the wrong idea and point the wrong direction.

SPEED IS IRRELEVANT IF YOU ARE GOING THE WRONG DIRECTION.!!

I partially agree with your topic bout tamil schools.. Actually Tamil schools not only teach their students Tamil, but the tamil school teacher oso teach us the Indian's culture and tradition.. I dont tink so if u r studying at SK or chinese school you could learn our culture and tradition.. actualy Tamil School oso is a identity of the indian,s unity.. It is the goverment responsiblity to find the solution for Gangsterism, lack of basic facilities such as classroom, toilet and field.. i will allow the goverment to close the Tamil Schools with insufficient of students at estate and rural school but with a condition they allocate or build a Tamil school at town side or at the place where Indians a lot.... If the Tamil schools are located at town side with full of facilities, and indian teachers are the one who teaching their students then i,m sure all the Indians will sent their children to Tamil School..

SUGUMARAN PERIASAMY said...

Good article....do u think the Education Ministry will endorse Tamil as one of the important language in this country? I dont think so....

I dont agree with closing down the tamil schools...cuz..currently my son in same school which, I was studied b4.

I do agree with some of ur statements such as lack of facilities..

For ur info...MIC Perak have selected 20 tamil schools which are qualified for a cash token from them. The accumulated amount is RM 400,000.

Most of the school are MIC pro schools....how about partially aided school....

Bro Raaja,
I did not said that we sent our children to Malay schools, but sent them to national schools..

trust me that if we sent our children to national schools they can learn Tamil more efficiently, the students will more committed to our language when they witness Chinese learning mandarin and the Malays learning bahasa...

the love on Tamil will increase definitely...

may I know why we can't learn about culture and how??

we cant start the culture learning from the parents... most of the schools are doing their part not more than education.....

me myself from Chinese schools, i did not forget our culture as well....
lets think rationally...

everyone now talking about Malaysian Indian unity, so when we going to talk about NATIONAL UNITY???

Initially, we must not divide our self... you asking for help and no one bother you, better find other solution..... How they will help you if you are the one unite among urself only without following the national flow??

We can create a lot of identities for Malaysian Indian.. It's an identity of Malaysian Indian success in every sector in Malaysia... no with the Tamil schools....

My dear friend vasanth,

1. Language identifies one nation. Please note that our culture, language and civilization are one of the earliest on this mother earth. If we dont practice, use and speak tamil, 4 sure there will be a mayday for our language. Tamil school is the only venue for preserve, enrich our mother tounge. Do we have "muthamil sangam" liked the one in madurai?? Our sangam is only our tamil school. this is the place where our children can perform. If i were to agree with your idea of making tamil as a compulsary subject in Malay school, then we will only learn tamil as a language, not more than that. what about the contents of tamil (iyal tamil, isai tamil and naadagattamil)
2. Literature is beauty when u learn in tamil. When "lights of Asia" was translated in tamil by Kavimani Thesiga Vinayagam Pillai, it was praised by pundits as one of the finest poem in tamil.
3. Reasons like lack of facilities which has become part and parcel of tamil schools is a temporary issue. It can be solved if the funding is channelled straight to the PTA(PIBG) and not the political parties. No goverment appointed contractors, sub-contractors, sub-sub-sub and so on.... to develop any school projects. (U still remember the chinese school in batu pahat last year??)
3. Job opportunities lessen for indian teachers - any guarantee in job?
4. I'm very sure that many successfull people were from tamil schools.(make use of them - form ex-students club/society - Like the movie Pallikkoodam). Upgrade these school without any support from government (like the chinese schools) If 10 schools (i.e. 1/state)can be developed in a year with latest facilities, in 10 years 100 schools with the best amneties can be formed. These schools can cater the best students, average students and remedy students with special curriculum and trained teachers - can make wonders!!
5. Scenario has changed. Now more indian parents are sending their children to tamil school. Please refer to the moe.gov.my statistics.
6. We are the ones who can make tamil as a compulsary subject in school. Make our children to attend POL classes (15 students needed to open a class). all sign up for exam. Motivate them with the advantages of learnig tamil and signing as a subjet in their public exams. Refer them to tamil specialists to clarify any doubts.
7. we need to have a authority to safe-guard our language like the dewan bahasa and pustaka. Put aside the differences between groups to uplift our language.

Finally, by closing tamil schools, nothing much we can do or achieve, we can do a major disaster to our system, way of life, and foremost our beautiful tamil language.

regards, Seremban.

VASANTARAO APPALASAMY said...

I don't think by closing Tamil schools, we cant achieve much....

but if we continue to divide ourself we going to loose everything..

sure we don't want Tamil to disappear.....

Hi Vasan, i totally disagree with you.

Just like that give up Tamil schools while Chinese and Malays still have their Chinese and Malay schools ?...that's self-marginalisation man.

It's not like all Malay and Chinese schools are doing so well either...there are some which are as bad as Tamil schools.

No facilities bla bla bla...all that's temporary..& can be fixed...it's not like M'sia has no more land to build Tamil schools.

And knowing the BN government, if many Indians agree to shut down Tamil schools...BN might start new nonsense..like clossing down SMC, demolishing more temples, stopping Tamil newspapers...who knows what else that BN is capable of.

Do you think the Malays or Chinese will ever give up their own schools ??..Why should we ??

Teaching Tamil in sekolah kebangsaan will never work.

Singapore small nation not as muliracial as us la bro...there aso full of racists....kiasu.

I say we should help improve Tamil schools..now that the Opposition in parliament is stronger, the task shouldn't be as difficult..

To achieve unity, things like giving equal rights to all races, eliminating 30% bumi quota for private companies, taking serious action for those who condemn other races, promoting inter open houses,& stuff like that can help boost unity alot....not shutting down Tamil schools.

Besides, there are still many Indian parents who send their kids to Tamil schools because overall, national schools are just not that good...the dedication of teachers in vernacular schools is higher. Tamil schools are slowly improving now.

Just a few days ago government allocated RM 50 million for Tamil schools...which is a good start.

HINDRAF tryin 2 fight for Indian rights & Indians decide to close Tamil schools??...not right man.

Fight for your rights man..don't give them up.

My opinion is more with the last anonymous.

I also understand that vernacular schools have their disadvantages too.

I just don't think it's a right move knowing that BN (especially UMNO) is capable of all sorts of things.

No hard feelings bro...Just my opinion.

Satish said...

btw...i'll only agree with this if the entire vernacular schools system is abolished...

Only then I see it as a worthy and fully beneficial cause to promote unity....

At the same time national schools must be improved.

VASANTARAO APPALASAMY said...

At first, I wish to tell everyone that there are no such like Malay schools, only National schools available in Malaysia... No one is promoting for the Unity here....!!!

I think its your people's fate...

Tamil are under threat in Malaysia...

Today, our schools statistics is 523 but the students statistics is around 100 000...

So in 10 years time, the number of the students may increase to 130 000... how bout schools??? will they build new schools for you?

most of the Tamil schools even now are insufficient of basic amenities and classrooms.... think what will happen in 10 years??? 20 years??? 30 years?????? I don't want such environment to destroy our Malaysian Indian future

if we start educate every Malaysian Indian in Tamil, in 20 years time, our new generation will be a brand new Tamil lovers....

no points blindly defending for nothing... Start think rationally......

RATHER THAN CRITICISE THE VIEW ON CLOSING DOWN THE TAMIL SCHOOLS... GIVE YOUR OPINION ON HOW TO IMPROVE TAMIL LANGUAGE....

skywalker said...

dear vasan...
told u rite...tamil pundits will not agree to what u said about closing down tamil schools.
they juz do not see the whole picture...thatz y if u wanna unite indians...u better harp on this 1st..
well...to all so called tamil pundits. How many tamil school student actually made their mark in the country??
we are the minority..politically , economically and demographicaly..our economic equity so little, those people whom support tamil school are giving subtle reason of not closing down tamil school. culture...wat the hell?? the last time i check those indian from non tamil schools are more defined and more indian. Are those from non tamil school less indian...NO!
Vasan is right...when see malay learning malay ...chinese learning chinese...the indian also will learn tamil. i for one are true anecdotal evidence for this...i become ultra indian when i went to elite malay boarding college...then later got a scholarship whereby i am the only indian boy in batch(not proud of that coz wish more indian got scholars)
wanna say tht all malay enviroment turn me from kinda ignorant indian to an ultra-indian.And my fellow scholar here ...from different pre-uni scholars whom are indian...huge majority of them are not from tamil school.

Furthermore , most of us learn our culture in the house.. culture is not part of any curiculum in tamil school. We learn it in the house.

And ...is better for indian to be learn in national school. we better integrated. Then when some of our malay friends grow up and become policy makers...they be more liberal(for our advantage).
Look at tan sri anandha...who gain so much from his close ties with tun dr.M ( whom perceived himself as ultra malay). People oppose idea of doing away tamil school scared indian can not compete on equal ground with the malays. They wanna be comfortable in their own surrounding. Increased competition will drag indian to greather heights.

wanna add , that 400 000 thousand is not enough...u can even build a fully furnish bungalow with that...low cost house maybelah..then how to build i.e a extra fully equiped block for students.U know the inflation rate have ballon for the past 10 years..Even Mahathir have say that malaysia like any other developed country will be high cost economy.

And lastly, a gentle reminder: please do not get emotional..confinced ur arguements verbly. do not get hype up with my remarks. Rebutt it properly. Always address the issues from
its fundamental question: IS Building more tamil school Viable in the long run.

and thankz vasan for giving an avenue to present my view point

As long as UMNO racist rule the country they will try their best to kill our language, culture and religion. In fact other culture/language too.

Closing down Tamil school is like winning a lottery for UMNO. They will take the opportunity to step on us.

Indians teacher is extremely important. Because the Malay teachers have no touch with Indians student. Go around and ask the students how many remember their malay Hm's name or teacher name? they just abandon indian students in many cases. They are too busy with their "Ketuanan Melayu" and "Hak Istimewa" agenda.

The Indians students are our future generation, they will lead community, make our language and culture alive.

Failure to develop them will cause dying of Tamil, culture and our religion. We will not see the impact now but in another 50 years of time it will happen.

Vijay said...

Just to add. One good example I can give u is the meritocracy system. When they announced to abolish quota system everybody, all race welcome the move.

But what happened later? They manipulated the system telling Malays have more merit than other race. Indians and Chinese intake into local universities reduced dramatically. From 200 to 300 students those days now only 30 indians out of 7000 intakes (UTM).

The same thing will happen if Tamil school closed down. 1st they will say "okay all indian learn tamil". After all closed down then they will give 101 excuse to not to implement it. UMNO gov , don't trust them.

1st we must change the gov and all the corrupt politicians. Then we talk about Indians future in this country. I strongly say no hope for Indians in this land as long as racist policies exist. Change we need should start from bottom of our heart. At any cost say no to MIC, UMNO and BN.

and sugumaran...u being utter irresponsible in questioning vASAN. u made fun of him by question ing his credibility in posting this issue. U see as long u call ur self an indian...u got all the right to bring up the tamil school issue.
Tamil people themselves were ignorant about the tamil school. It was our own fault. The only way to rectify this is to do away with the system. A lot of ambitious indian themselves will not send their kids to tamil school. It is like this...why people like their kids to study overseas..i.e UK , US and AUS. Apart from the education content , it is the environment,...where u r expose to all kinds of mentality and opinion.

National school students normally stud Tamil after 1pm...i mean like extra classes...( after other race students back to home)…. Seriously 1pm is not the time to study... You can’t concentrate at all… The students just want to back home and that’s the time to take lunch…

You cant teach thirukural, bharathiyar poems, pazhamozli etc in national school…

And there will be no Indian headmaster, less Tamil books in library, and only few Indian teachers….

and only in Tamil school where students can learn other language like telugu and malayalam....

I don’t know why you all blame the GOV and MIC all the time… no point depends on them… simple!… send ur kids to tamil school and support that school....thatz all..Everything will be ok….

bty, UPSR is nothing....i screw up once(the only anak cikgu who tak dapat semua A)....but see where i am know. Its the end result that count. Out of tht 719....how many people actually mark their mark in SPM or STPM??? check out the MIED award list....how many indian actually come from tamil school???

'dont be assistant ball carrier for vasan......'

and i am constantly expose my malay friends...whether from boarding school or here(pre-uni) abt the dillema facing the indians. they listen...and guess what...when they make decision later(this cream of crop of malays) , they take into account of what i said. Another reason...why i be excellent assitant ball carrier to vasan...because my paper qualification and my social clout add credibility to vasan.

vasan was conveying his opinion...i chip my two cents worth..found out he is in the same camp with me. we were opiniated...and at both of us are being apolitical....we approach this from education cum economic vantage point.

what technical mechanism??enlighten us...seriously i damn curious to know other side of the story about the viability of tamil school in the long run from an economic and education persepetive.

i know how to take collectice criticsm...thatz i am actually spending precious time replying tothis...and i not being emotionally of it. i got nothing to loose or gain from this.

paper qualification...is the most important thing of all...do not get too hype up on issues.economic proseprity and education excellence is the only thing that count. do nt expect the malays to listen to us if we do nt have this. Education excellence and economic prosperity is more important then equal rights and freedom of speech...in this globalized world. sooner or later, all problem will solved by globalization...so lets juz equip ourselves with the most prestigious paper qualification and lump sum pay check. It is important to take note of barrack obama. He is harward graduate , president of haward law review...thtz people actually thought that a black could become president. It was nt because he was black(half actually) or because dream...it was his haward law degree. He use that to even help poor blacks in chicago. regardless , how he run his office...he made his mark..

Dear skywalker,
rights after i wrote this article, i thought several time to decide whether post it in my blog or not...

i know there will be a lot of attacks from various group left and right..
I'm really happy because have the people like you beside me...

lets we strive together to our community's betterment...
I will take your advise before, NO MORE STREET PROTESTS AFTER THIS...
I realise we able to solve all the problems smartly.....

Anonymous said...

Good idea to form the Bangsa Malaysia! We must together with all races join effort to create unity and victory for Malaysia in future. Only with the school systems restructured.

skywalker said...

yeah...thtz the spirit...no street protest ...yeah...
indians much smarted then that..
we solve it the smart way....
we belong to the race that manage to sent a rocket into space...the race with nuklear capability...the race tht now dominate the IT service in the world...and soon ..the financial sector..

we belong to the oldest civilization in the world. the gods we worship .....their image and concept existed long before any religion in the world.

we built town(harrapa and mojendaro) long before new york or even london came to exist.

we were the 1st in begining...we shall end as 1st...
india's rise and its fundamental reason for its rise is symptom that indians will dominate the world whem it ends....

all the above is concipracy theory....came up by some ultra indians...

but there is truth in it..
TIMES magazine reported that indian will be the biggest immigrant in the world.hence , we shall indian MP's and high govt repsentative in countries like UK and Canada(there are) , senators in US...

However , malaysian indian have a lot catching up to do.....we need to view things from economic cum education perspective only...
Culture and language will continue to prosper once indians become an affluent society. i.e ..when we are rich in money and knowledge...then all indian will demand for language and identity.
then we build a world class indian university tht will have language research facilities..Globalization is taking shape...
since we know our immenent and glorious end....lets us strive to push the frontier and make sure no malaysian indian is left behind..

language , culture , religion must progress as we progress.

Bangsa malaysia....is long...long time to come. meanwhile , we concerntrate our coletive efforts in bangsa india.

to all tamil school pundits , change have already taking place ....afluent and prominent indian(even those frm tamil school) are not sending their kids to tamil school...we can welcome the change by doing away a system tht is not helping us...or we can just stand and watch change take its place.

lastly , lets us shy away from indian politics because 5o years of indian politicking have let the once double digit economic equity have dwindle into mere 1.5%. Now we begging for extra 1.5% from government...we want the same affirmative action...which is not sustainable in the long run.why bother? indians should focus their energy to building MNCs from stretch....rather then building new indian political party...politics...total waste. A good example is Infosys , india build from strach from indian backyard...now a global player in IT service....did anyone know tht google finance is design by indian?? that tata group bought jaguar from GM ??? Tht richest man in europe(richer then the queen whos family once colonize india) and the real man of steel(not ironman) is an indian??

in our own backyard...the richest man ...owner of MAxis(a private company) is an indian...tan sri anandha)..owner of westport, klang(the most profit making port in malaysia)is an indian.??
that ernest and young entrpreneur of the year(2007) is an indian???
did they achieve all this through politics....maybe yes...but not directly??
off course tan sri anandha went to tamil school...but he also went to haward...it the haward that counts...however , would like to say tht doing away tamil school system..is not demolishing...juz demolish those worth demolishing...and channel all our peruntukan and effort on this few once...let them make their mark in the country...when chinese and malay sent their kids to this very few yet selected tamil school...then we know we have reach there/...

to all passer by , i pledge to return and serve the government....with my qualification..god willing i will able to see that deserving indian be assisted economicly and education...i pledge to ensure that....
and i do not need any political figure(those with their narrow mentality and own personal agenda) to be part of change...oh yeah..even their political assitant.

p/s sorry vasan....long comment...wanna end this with grand exit...unlike some people who claim to tht their comment and time too precious to be included.

AND I too pledge my support to You, vasan. I shall honour my word when the time come i.e when i pass all my exam and in position of authority. U could do me a favour tht by praying for me tht i pass my exam and land my self in Down Under.the government so big...with my qualification ...i land my self in some position of authority...at least they wanna an indian face to fill their carta organisasi...then i honour my word....good luck with ur studies too...

National school students normally stud Tamil after 1pm...i mean like extra classes...( after other race students back to home)…. Seriously 1pm is not the time to study... You can’t concentrate at all… The students just want to back home and that’s the time to take lunch…

EVER HEARD THE SAYING ., WHERE IS THE WILL , THERE IS A WAY.
AND MY SCHOOL ( BOARDING SCHOOL FINISH AT 3.00 PM....SUME TIME FIVE..ITS ALL MALAY SCHOOL...THE MALAYS CAN PRAY AND EAT IN THE 20MINUTES BREAK...WHY CAN NT WE)

plus my mum is a senior assitant in one of the most premier school national secondary school...she said that tamil class will be held if and only if got more then 15 students every attendance...that mean u need more then 15 students. The time is up too the school admin and that tamil teacher. And u can ask for more suitable time in The School's PTA meeting..which untuk need a pencadang and penyokong only...
the problem is the school got its own event during the evening...

and even in chinese school, class start in morning and end late afternoon??

why we blame MIC and govt???
we never blame both in this comments...at least directly...

Although govt do not deserve to be blame(they wanna take care majority interest..which is the most sensible thing), MIC definately deserve the Blame.

Our economic equity have dwindle from double digit to mere..1.5%
u know why?? coz MIC did not ensure tht business oppurtunity given to indians reach indian entrepeuners...but MIC thought they more smart and can make more money....so they took it...guess what they bungle up royally. Even an article by STAR conform this...
they set up holding corporation...but check out their website ...no financial report also...they never pay divided...u do need genious to figure it out...

why izit??/that mahathir priortize tan sri anandha more then his own component party when mahathir was privatizing...basiclly the whole country??? and as matter of fact anandha did deliver...check out Maxis pty ltd , tanjong ltd....

and only in Tamil school where students can learn other language like telugu and malayalam....
is it economicly viable to learn all this????

Dude your idea of closing down Tamil schools and making Tamil is a compulsory subject for all Indians is totally Not cool...Especially to close down the Tamil schools!!!! Although making Tamil compulsory is a good idea but We Tamil Intellectuals are strongly voicing for more Tamil Schools and here you are confusing the youths with your lame ideas... Do you think the Numb nuts who sent their Children to Sekolah Kebangsaan is really love the great Language Tamil and wanted their children to master the precious Tamil Language??? Your idea totally sends our precious divine language to extinction...Kindly don't stuff our language to your GAY little Bangsa Malaysia.First of all try to change the Malay mind of Ketuanan Melayu then you come up with this kind of GAY ideas..As a matter of fact nobody recognize Indians as a citizens over here... You should know this better than any other youths in Malaysia!!! because you were there for the great course of our struggle on last Nov... Lets think about our Indians' progress!!! come with any other idea that could lift our community up in the eyes of racists!!! Also read this bloghttp://tamiluyir.blogspot.com.../
