Muslim State, Liberty, Ketuanan Melayu and Bangsa Malaysia...

Compare Malaysia with Brunei, which gained independence 27 years after us. The Bruneian Proclamation declares Brunei "a sovereign, democratic and independent Malay Muslim monarchy". Our Proclamation, on the other hand, announces that we "shall be for ever a sovereign democratic and independent State founded upon the principles of liberty and justice and ever seeking the welfare and happiness of its people".

Our founding fathers were not too worried about things involving race. They did not declared officially as a Malay state or a Muslim state; they did not need to call for Malay unity or Muslim unity. But they did call for the all Malayan unity. Even if they did believe that in the short term, some authoritarianism was necessary to clamp down on ethnic tension, they knew that in the long run, all that matters is that the people of Malaysia are happy, that they have liberty and justice.

So what were some political parties talking about when they met over "Malay unity"? Was it about how to improve the lot of the Malays by lording it over other Malaysians with some ideology of ketuanan Melayu? Or they just purposely ignoring the non-Muslim which are almost 35% of the Malaysian citizen? We are facing a lot of crisis nowadays, including the hike of inflation rate, leadership crisis, worrying sports performance, drop of the Malaysian Universities in the world rankings and I have a long list of the problems. So, hope all Malaysian focus on those problems instead of racial issues.

Malays should believe multiracial liberalism concept, then only we able to form strong and competent Bangsa Malaysia. After 52 years of national independence we are still talking about unity among Malays, among Chinese, among Indians and among other races within ourselves. These should be the issues of the past and now as Malaysian we should emphasis on the nation's building and development for the betterment of our future generations! Lets together we struggle for this noble cause!

How to become a corrupt nation? Learn from Malaysia!

LOOK AT SINGAPORE! DON'T YOU FEEL ASHAMED?

OUR RANKING IN TRANSPARENCY INTERNATIONAL(TI) WORLD CORRUPTION INDEX

THE REGIONAL RANKING (ASIA-PACIFIC)

MALAYSIA'S RANKING FROM 2001- 2009

Before this, we always take any African nation, India or other third world nation as the example of corruptions, but now the world can take Malaysia as the best example for corruptions. In reality, we are in all-time low puts us on par with Namibia, Samoa, Slovakia and Latvia in our Transparency International (TI) corruption ranking 2009. In 2003, when Pak Lah took office, Malaysia was ranked 37. It dropped to 39 in 2004/2005, 44 in 2006 and 43 in 2007. Last year it was ranked 47, and now when Najib turns to perform, our corruption ranking slipped 9 notches to 56th.

Let me tell you the story about our neighbour. Singapore is now the world 3rd least corrupted country. Can you see the differences between us? In fact, the independent that Singapore is enjoying now was given by Malaysia, but Singapore’s government became more matured ever than Malaysian government. Look what has happened to our beloved country! Tun Dr.M, Pak Lah and Dato Seri Najib, look what you have done!

Even though Malaysia suffered a major blow in terms of combating corruption today when it fell to its worst ranking and score in 15 years in Transparency International's corruption perception index for 2009. But these politicians won’t change their old habit, they will still compare themselves with Ghana, Afghanistan and other third world nations. The truth is our leaders never admit that we have become a corrupted nation since long time ago, because they are scared their political popularity will decrease among Malaysians. What a great leader we have!?

The government made lots of promises to stamp out graft and bribery but we can clearly see that there has been no improvement in the perception of corruption. We Malaysian citizens are sincerely hoping that there will be a better future for our children, please don’t disappoint us! Proper action must be taken immediately to stop this "disease"!

DESTROY CORRUPTION BEFORE IT DESTROYS YOUR NATION!

Samy Vellu and MIC

After being the MIC President and sole Malaysian Indian Minister for close to three decades, he had fully absorbed the anger and frustration of the Malaysian Indians at the MIC failure to check the marginalization of the Malaysian Indians by accepting full personal responsibility. But he is still in the MIC top post after winning the party election months ago. A salute to all MIC members for honoring him the top post again and again. I think the MIC members still need his 'contribution' to destroy remaining Indian community in Malaysia.

Samy stated in a press before election that if he wins the party presidential elections then, it will be his last term and he will retire from active politics in 2012. Lets see what's going to happen then. Samy joined the party in 1959 and became the Youth Chief in 1971 before becoming the vice-president in 1975. He took up the acting party president in 1979 after the death of Tan Sri V Manickavasagam. He then got elected to the top post in 1981, which he held on until today.

MAIKA: THE FAILED VENTURE

The very fact that Samy Vellu lost his seat in Sungai Siput to Dr Jeyakumar was evidence that people had rejected him totally, he should just accept the fact that he has overstayed in the politics. The message was further amplified when he never got a "Tun" from Yang Dipertuan Agong but Gerakan’s advisor deserve it. It’s another obvious signal that Samy Vellu’s 'highly praised contribution' to the society was not recognised although he stayed for 30 years in cabinet.

Samy vellu also involved in Maika scandal which 66,000 Maika shareholder’s RM120 million Telekom shares hijacked, where nine of ten million Telekom shares allocated to Maika were diverted to three private companies. So he better escape quietly before Malaysian Indian seriously start investigating and reveal all the scandals that he did. Don't forget that the latest MiED scandal that exposed by Chitrakala was another blow to him.

MiED: ANOTHER FAILED VENTURE IN THE MAKING UNDER SAMY VELLU

Hope he leaves the post and let younger members to lead MIC professionally and efficiently. He will do it if he really cares about Malaysian Indian! And the most important thing is MIC itself not relevant for future Malaysia, beacause Malaysians are firmly rejecting race based politics!

Putera MIC is now available in Unitar and other Universities! Is Education Ministry allows politics in local campuses?

'It’s dangerous to be right, when the government is wrong! But still some of our local University students hope action from the government to 'kick out' politics from their University. The ugly truth revealed by a student from Unitar when his campus ‘polluted’ by MIC’s political programmes. Persatuan Mahasiswa India Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (PMIU) Pintar campus, Kelana Jaya honorable president Mr Shashi is influencing the other students to join MIC’s important political wing Putera MIC.

My sources show me that Unitar Indian students are being influenced by Putera MIC through their society leader Shashi, some of them being uncomfortable by the political motive and approach by the society head. By right, politics should not be inside the campus. According to my friends in other Universities, such incident also happening in their campuses in recent years, more after the massive defeat of MIC in the last general election. From what I get from a friend via mail, UPM, UM, UTM and few other teachers colleges are main target by the MIC to draw the support of the students for their political struggle.

A simple theory that we can’t understand from here is MIC is now so strained to recover the support from the Malaysian Indian society until there keen to influence Universities students and also other higher education institution students such as polytechnics, teachers training colleges, private colleges and so on to join their political movements. In several occasions, Putera MIC through the Indian/Tamil society leaders in the campuses giving pressure to those student that refuse to join in the MIC’s political wing.

Some of them even have made report in students department (HEP), but no action had been taken. Some source also shows me that the Putera MIC linked the website of University Tun Abdul Razak Indian undergraduates. The link shows that the registration form offered to the Unitar undergraduates by Putera MIC. I haven't see any UMNO politics in between Malay students and MCA politics in between Chinese students in local universities but why this MIC politics becoming worst among Indian students in local campuses???

I have a few questions here. Do our education ministry allow such political movements in Universities? If yes! It’s nothing wrong if Pakatan Rakyat also opens their wing in local Universities. In fact, politics is politics, it doesn’t matter come f
rom ruling party or opposition. So if they allow politics, they must be fair to all by openly give students to exercise their political rights without fear or favour.
