Penang Government Respects All Malaysian Languages

The road signs in Penang will be changed to multi-language. Jawi, Tamil and Chinese will be displayed in addition to Bahasa Malaysia, places of heritages in Georgetown. Due to the cost that needed for such projects, not all the road signs in Penang will be added to multi languages, only selected road sign based on appropriateness.

As malaysian we must be proud of our languages, It's our pride to explain about this to tourists. The project to be completed by the end of the year. Thanks to Penang government for being true Malaysian. This could be the first step to introduce road signs in multi-language, hope other state governments also follow this action to show how unique is Malaysia to the world.
