Our institutions, that is the courts, the police and others are being tested and we can judge for ourselves whether they are acting independently or not. Legitimacy of the political defections, Sultan's power to dismiss the Menteri Besar (Chief Minister), pre-signed undated resignation letters, power of the Speaker of the House and power of the Election Commission are major issues of Perak constitutional crisis.
