Racist Future Teacher

Months ago, when I posted a topic in a friendster group entitled “Keling! Keling! Keling! Are you Happy now?”, I received mixed reaction from the members of the group. The group named Pelajar Institut Pendidikan Guru Malaysia SIPGM is a very famous among the future teachers in Malaysia. Now its has more than 6,000 members to discuss various topics on religion, politics, education and also sharing information about teaching.

Most of the future teachers agree with that racial statements could not used in schools. But there are few students said its nothing wrong to use racist words towards minority Malaysian Indians. I have an example of it. A future teacher from Institut Perguruan Kota Bahru incited lot of racist statements. View his profile here- Amir D'Pathetic

The future teacher surely going to hurt and “kill” the Malaysian Indian school students with racist words. I wont surprise if he physically abused them also. He is going to educated the Malay students to be racist! I just wonder how he could past the interview if he was released such statements there? Do we need such teacher to educate our future generation? We could not achieve racial unity with this kind of teacher around!

dear friend,
sadly the posts written by Amir showed how some people think they are superior to another..

as a malay, i dont even come close to that kind of thought. too disgusting.. and shallow..

in my religion, all people should be treated with respect.. n its stated that God has created human beings in different colours, race, so that they know and understand each other.. i believe that indians or whoever, hv the rights to be respected wherever they are.. all of us are trying to survive in this world, y is it hard for some people to see that??

anyway my friend,
just hope that u dont think all malays are like that..
am so ashamed and angry when i read his posts..
be strong n u r not alone in this..
take care..

It makes me angry when I read such comments. It is unfortunate that being a nation like ours still have shallow minded people like Amir amongst us.

I believe not all Malays think like Amir. I have good Malay friends and we do not have any 'racial' problems. We are all Malaysians, first and foremost.

One thing I would like to tell Amir in his face is that if we think the concept of Bangsa Malaysia is bullshit then he is very wrong. Being nationalistic (as he claims to be) does not mean loyal to one race. A nation does not necessary mean of 'one race'. America is a nation, not a race. Likewise, Malaysia is a nation and the people here are called Malaysians. So what if we have our own cultures - Malay, Chinese, Indian - Is it wrong to have one? It is our heritage and we should all be proud of it. If he thinks in order to be 'satu bangsa' everyone must be 'satu budaya' then he is not fit to be teacher.

I would take examples of Americans again. Jews in the US celebrate Hanukkah and yet not all Americans celebrate that. Irish Americans celebrate St. Patrick's Day and not all Americans have Irish roots. So what does this say? We can be one nation but many cultures.

Tell Amir that he is an idiot, for me. And I believe Noor Fazleen here shares the same opinion.

Thanks for the good read.

huhh damn racist this bugger, i don't think it's a problem for all the Malaysian of different races to live together. the solution is that i think we should understand each other culture and taboos and try to assimilate with each other...that's mean to put ur own culture as the backstage behaviour while putting Malaysian culture as the frontstage behaviour. let me share my view as a kelantan chinese, what make us so specialis that is we can mix around with other races together without having problem and we generally speak kelantan malay dialect without fault even the malay there accpet us as part of them and call us Orang Cina Kita. we even adopt malay culture like eating by using hand and eating malay dishes but still preserve our Chineseness which is our backstage behaviour like praying for our ancestor and speaking hokkien at home. As siamese is also a significant ethnic inkelantan, siam culture is also a very popular culture for peranakan chinese as most of us speak siamese very well and celebrate thai celebration like Loy Khratong together with them. likewise for siamese, they also assimilate well with malay culture and speak kelantanese fluently while maintaining their siamese culture at home. Kelantan Malay regard siamese and chinese as part of them and we always share our culture together and accept each other. while pork is an issue in other state, we can still sell pork in wet market and malays never complaint to us. and we often heard about demolishing Temples in other state but that doesn't happen here, for ur information, Kelantan are very famous for Buddhist temple and we have a lot of famous Thai Buddhist temple here like sitting Buddha and Leaning Buddha Temple as well as Chinese temples like Mazu temple. Even in a place that Malay are the majority and Islam as the common religion, we can still practice our own faith without any problem in this Serambi Mekah. Here, Malay, Chinese, and Siamese lve together in one Kampung in harmony. I'm not boasting about Kelantan here. but my point is, we have to assimilate with each other so that we can unite as one. well, the problem is that we hardly mix with other races, u see, chinese with their SRJK (C), Indian with SRJK(T) and Malay with their SK and Sek. Agama. and then while Football is popular among Malays, Chinese seldom play it, they prefer badminton and basket ball. in gov service and armed forces, we can hardly see any Chinese or Indian in the army, navy or air force, while in private company own by Chinese businessman, there are not many malays and indians.and then, because Bumiputra can have UiTM, the special univ just for the "1st class citizen", then Chinese have UTAR and TARC which the students are mostly Chinese...and in general,i think it's still a long way for us to unite....
very dissapointed....

At times we should just ignore any statements or comment potraying shallow mentality of an individual. Generalising everyone as this person wouldnt be fair for others hence it would be the best course of action to ignore and work towards staying united with those who are willing to. :)

Dear Sirs,

RE: 1. COMMONWEALTH ETHNIC INDIAN PEACE LOVING SUBJECTS IN MALAYSIA PERSECUTED BY GOVERNMENT BACKED ISLAMIC EXTREMIST VIOLENT ARMED TERRORIST WHO LAUNCHED A PRE DAWN VIOLENT ARMED ATTACK AND DESTROYED THE KG JAWA MARIAMAN HINDU TEMPLE AT 4.00 A.M THIS MORNING (15.11.2007) .

2. APPEAL FOR U.K TO MOVE EMERGENCY U.N RESOLUTION CONDEMNING “ETHNIC CLEANSING” IN MALAYSIA.

3. APPEAL TO REFER MALAYSIA TO THE WORLD COURT AND INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT FOR CRIMES AGAINST IT’S OWN ETHNIC MINORITY INDIANS.

We refer to the above critical matters in Malaysia but which generally gets the least attention locally even by the Opposition parties, NGO’s, the Malaysian Human Rights Commission and the media for this community is generally regarded as politically insignificant, do not draw local or international funding and are deemed not pressworthy. To the contrary the Malaysian government has successfully projected itself to the world as a modern Islamic thinking country which is not true.

The ethnic minority Indians in Malaysia were brought in to Malaysia by the British some 200 over years ago. Since independence in 1957 the Malaysian Indians have been permanently colonialised by the Islamic fundamentalist and Malay chauvinists UMNO led Malaysian government.

Among the recent atrocities committed by this government are as follows:-

1.100 over Indians were slashed and killed by the UMNO controlled Malaysian government in the Kampung Medan mini genocide. Despite numerous appeals, the Malaysian Human Rights Commission has refused to hold a Public Inquiry. The UMNO controlled Malaysian courts struck off a victim’s public interest civil suit for a Public Inquiry to be held without even the said UMNO controlled government having to file in their defence. The UMNO controlled Attorney General and the Inspector General of Police refused to investigate and / or initiate an inquest into the death of at least six Indians in this tragedy despite.

2. Every week one person at average is killed in a shot to kill policy and in every 2 weeks one person is killed in police custody. About 60% of these victims are Indians though they form only 8% of the Malaysian population.

3. In every three weeks one Hindu temple is demolished in Malaysia.

The latest being the demolishment of the Mariaman temple in Padang Jawa, Shah Alam, Selangor early this morning (15.11.2007) and the next being the (Mutaiya) Hindu temple in Sungai Petani scheduled for the 29.11.2007.

A violent armed pre down attack at 4.00a.m this morning was launched by the UMNO controlled Malaysian government backed by about 600 police, riot police, Islamic extremist and armed terrorists which completely destroyed this temple.

In an attack two weeks ago, uniformed police, riot police and city Council officers hurled rocks and attacked unarmed Hindu devotees with knives, sticks and iron rods.

At least 20 Hindu devotees were seriously injured and 19 arrested including 4 of their United Kingdom trained lawyers in direct violation of Article 5 (Right to life) Article 8 (Equality) Article 11 (Freedom of Religion) Section 295 (defiling a place of worship), Section 296 (disturbing a religious assembly), 298A(causing racial disharmony) and Section 441(criminal trespass) of the Malaysian Penal Code.

These authorities are plagued by an above the law mindset and in fact liberally take the law into their own hands. These atrocities however does not happen to almost all Islamic places of worship. Please visit www.policewatchmala ysia.com for further and better particulars.

4. State sponsored direct discrimination against the Indians in Public University intakes, Indian (Tamil) Schools, skills training institutes, civil service and private sector job opportunities, business and license opportunities and in almost all other aspects of daily life.

Despite our hundreds of letters, appeals and pleas to the Malaysian King and Sultans, the Prime Minister, Attorney General, Inspector General of Police, Ministers, Chief Ministers and the latest being our letters to the Prime Minister dated 29.10.2007 and 30.10.2007 and to the Attorney General dated 1.11.2007 the Malaysian authorities are only proceeding with greater ferocity and with impunity with very little regard for the Federal Constitution and laws of Malaysia. So please help us.

CONCLUSION

We fear that this peace loving Indian community of Tamil origin having been pushed to the corner and the persecution getting worse by the day may be forced to into terrorism in a matter of time as what has happened to the Sri Lankan Tamils.

APPEAL

On our part we are committed to a peaceful and lawful struggle and pray and appeal that the Government of the United Kingdom:-

1. Moves an emergency United Nations resolution condemning these state sponsored atrocities and persecutions of Malaysian Indians in Malaysia.

2. Refers Malaysia to the World Court and the International Criminal Court for Crimes against it’s own ethnic minority Indians

Thank You,

Yours Faithfully

Cekgu Mozart must shame of himself for being unprofessional.. he is attacking personally, rather than argue on the important issue.. his baseless accusation proven untrue..

I'm wondering how he is going to be a dedicated teacher soon...
hope he is not another racist teacher...

he must correct his mistakes.. and must rationally deliver his opinion.. not simply type whatever he wants...

I believe your article about me here is really biased..

I mean, I wonder why wont u post your follow up comment on my side? That would be fair instead of posting on my side, countering your provocative post?

You're scared that d ISA or MCMC looking over you post, hun?

Judging by your previous post, you made quite a comment on our newly appointed PM, and now you are backing his idea about 1Malaysia?

You got a real serious problem in taking sides, you know?

Like I said, whether you become a billionaire, or a Superman, or what not, you'll always have "it" running in your blood.

Even your forefather's nation won't take you back.

How about this; whenever someone call you "keling" or "pariah" or "ketiak kari", why don't you just smile, and politely said to that person that you dislike to be called that, and politely introduce yourself.

Take it as a joke, like the Indian Indonesian did.

And stop whining in the internet, because that doesn't make you a hero. Don't be like RPK. He's nowhere to be found now after insulting, commenting and condemning others.

The world is not fair at all. Sometimes things couldn't be catered for some reason. If you asking for it, you should know your rights as a human being; you can always leave and go back where you belong, racially.

So, to make it up to you, I don't really care what you have done to me, insulting me without proper quote from yourself, with your "political sentiment" comments. I take it that you are too defensive on your own view.

But I would gladly thanking you to drop this article, for the Malaysian sake, and for the taxpayers money that gave your the education opportunity to educate your future students.

If you want me to apologize, I would gladly do if any of my point offended you in a way.

I mean, try to look at things in a different way. I'm giving such comments for you to think about, not that "tahap-skema-jawapan" kind of reaction.

Your got your ideology,
and I got mine.

Till our ideologies clashes again...

P/S: to others that had commented on this issue, thank you, but spare me your thoughts. Do some in depth research before talk. People around the world are racist. It's just between their faces to hide the fact beyond their hypocrite lunacy.

To anyone that called me an idiot, I believe you are the idiot for not knowing your past. Learn from the past. Learn to respect people's rights to speak. Learn to be courteous in the near future.

And don't refer your personal experience with other races. It's nice, I know, I experienced it, majority of my friends are Chinese as I live in their community.

Friends are closer to heart. It won't affect one's jurisdiction. While community is in a larger scale, and people wont recognize each other, that's when the whole racial sentiment thingy came arise.

And those who call me "not obliged to be a teacher", please show me how to be one, without emotion, without hatred. It's almost, inhumane.

And I dare you to be better than me.
