Wow! First class facilities...

THE RM280 MILLION SUTAN MIZAN ZAINAL ABIDIN STADIUM COLLAPSED

PICTURE FROM ANOTHER CORNER

SULTAN MIZAN ZAINAL ABIDIN STADIUM, BEFORE AND AFTER

The roof of the one year old Gong Badak stadium in Terengganu collapsed. In the incident, 60 percent of the roof at the stadium collapsed, including that above the royal box at the grand stand. Our government instead of admit their mistake, are blaming foreign contractor.

Luckily the 270 million did not collapsed when it was hosting the 2008 SUKMA Games. The all-seater multi-purpose stadium is also often used by the state football team which drew tenth thousands of fans. Is this ‘first class facilities’ that our leaders always proud of? This is another tremendous failure of the government to provide first class facilities to the people.

I think this kind of incident only happen in Malaysia. Please verify again whether all the sports facilities in Malaysia safe to use by fans and athletes before disaster happen.

This incident has sullied Malaysia's name abroad. It shouldn't have happened
