I'M TRYING TO OVERCOME THE 'CULTURE OF FEAR' EVEN THOUGH RECEIVING AND GOING TO RECEIVE PRESSURES FROM VARIOUS SITES (AUTHORITIES, CAMPUS ADMINISTRATION, POLITICIANS, GOVERNMENT AND ETC)
After almost two years since I started to write my opinion via blog, I received a lot of pressures from various party including my campus administration. I think I need to make decision now whether I should stop everything here or continue to deliver the inner feeling of mine.
I am blurring now, the Timbalan Pengarah Pengurusan of my campus, Encik Abu Bakar warned me in front of my campus mates to stop writing such articles. ‘Mana Vasantaro! Angkat tangan!’ he 'shouted' in the weekly assembly past Monday in front of almost 700 students and lecturers. I don’t know what was his intention whether to humiliate me or he has his personal agendas in his mind.
I know something will happen that morning when he started to talk about networking. My guess was right that he definitely would mention about me because he met me personally few months ago and told me to stop writing such articles in blog. It’s a fact that he rarely gives speech in the assembly, but his first speech in this year is all about to urge me to stop blogging such articles. Anything wrong with my articles?
No matter what had happened, I am still respecting and inspired from the guaranteed freedom of speech in Article 1o of the federal constitution. Whether 174 Act (my campus act) or University and University College Act (UUCA) stopping me, I believe that federal constitution is more respectable, noble and the highest of the all constitutions in our nation. I hope my campus administration knows that.
And the most important thing is my writings are apolitical, I did not voiced out direct support to any political parties. I write the fact and truth, what can I do if the ruling party really failed the nation, why I must scared to write the truth? Is it wrong if I attacked them in my blog? Why I must always shut my mouth even though the cruelty done by the government is very open and clear?
Is it wrong to write the truth? Is it wrong to tell what our heart speaks? Is it wrong to tell something good to the development of my beloved nation? My dear brothers and sisters, if you support my cause, leave your opinion here, and if don’t just ignore this post. I will wait for the response of my friends whether I should stop my writing or continue as usual.
I leave it you, because my all my writings so far is just for you. Forgive me if I hurt anyone in my writing, my intention is not to hurt anyone, but to build a bright and ideal Malaysia for our future generations with my fellow brother and sisters.
AM I NOTHING TO THIS NATION AS I COULDN'T VOICE OUT MY FEELING AND EXPRESSION AS A RIGHTFUL CITIZEN?

I will not stop writting if I were you, so continue the good, however you must be able to decide for yourself the context accordingly as if expulsion is the punishment that you'll get, than due consideration must be given about the state of your education, that's all, all the best, and Selamat Berjuang.

as far as ur TPP wants you to stop, unless he states a very solid and valid arguments, in black and white, i don't see why you should heed his 'advice'.
you are talking anything politically motivated? NO
you are thrashin verbally any individual or group? DON"T THINK SO
you are insulting any race religion or ethnic? NEVER
you are discriminating anyone for the way they chose to live? NOT EVEN ONCE
you are spreading rumours or instigating hatred? DID NOT
then no, you should not stop writing, im always in cahoot with you in this crime of passion. passion to wards D REAL 1MALAYSIA!
GAMBATEH!
"Do whatver you want only when you are independent." That's what my parents keep on reminding me.
My blog isn't as influencial as yours, and as you have seen and noted, I didn't blog much about political issues; if so, my dad will urge me to remove it. Not to say we are fear of being taken action for the crime of telling the truth. but if we get into trouble today, can we settle it ourselves.
i don't know. i won't stop blogging. but, just bear in mind the consequences. when the people ask you to continue, u get the supports and satisfaction, and may be you are the hero. when you are in trouble, the same people will give you the supports here, but, what can they do.
not trying to go against anyone. but that's a well known fact, reality sucks.
take care & happy blogging.
I have to agree with SJ, everything has it's consequences bro...Who will help you when your in trouble?...or what they can do to help you...i bet most of your reader you never met in person...right...take your time, think what is the best for you so that you can serve the best for others...
nampak sgt ketidak matangan pengurusan ipti...shame on them !!
Bro,
Stop blogging for a day or two. Take a break. I find it a good revitalizer after a long stretch.
After you've taken that break, go forth with vengeance man.
Ignore the fool/s who tell you to stop for good. They all jealous dengan your blog, bro ...
Regards.
Hi Vasan,
I am not sure if you can remember me...I use to write many articles and post it in friendster during the hindraff problem....I have also chat with you for a couple of times... After that i stopped writing because i left to Russia to further my studies and currently i am in Russia as i am writing this.... Vasan after i read your article "should i stop writing" i could not help it but i felt extremely sad in regards to what you are going through...We have lost nearly everything temples have been destroyed,we lost our rights in the education, job, govermental, land and so many sectors, we were never given what we deserved but now after all this i am so sad that we have lost the freedom of speech...Let me tell you vasan after i left Malaysia the only blog that i keep updating myself on will be yours...I have always felt that you are a person who is never bias and you only life by your principles...You once supported hindraff but upon realising the errors of this party you were brave enough to say no to them...That was when i realised that you are an individual blogger who cannot be manipulated by any party and i respected you with all my heart and also i saluted you for who you are and believed every word that you wrote....Now after all that you have done for the community if you ask me should i stop writing frankly i would say i dont know because i have two sides of me which gives two answers..I would love to keep hearing from you...I never want you to stop writing...I have the same young indian blood in you that cannot accept what if any wrong doings happens around me...And you being such a great writer and you being one of the best person that i have ever seen i want you to keep writing and please never stop, this would be one of my answer. But if i say that it is pure selfishness because if you continue to write no one knows what you might need to give up....Your education, your future, your contribution towards the community that you might be doing in the future, your families dreams,no one knows and no one here who is telling to continue to voice out your opinion can pay your back what you might lose. Vasan trust me in this world education is the most important pillar that we need in our life...We must never do anything that can jeopardize our future because life is not only about us it is about our family who might be depending on us during the latter days our lives...Think wisely Vasan...No matter what decision you take i will always support you but remember what ever you decide make sure it is something you will never regret in future....God bless you....All the best.....take care.....

Bro,
My utmost respect for you, writing without fear and favour. Freedom of expression is needed for a nation to evolve. Don't stop voicing your concern for Malaysians.
so what ur answer to ur loyal readers?
a true malaysian by heart will continue to do what he think is correct/best to change this country or at least to inspire some1 to be a true malaysian...i believe u r a true malaysian...keep on writing n keep on rocking...dont give a damm bout idiots...
I am the sort of hombre who loves to seek brand-new stuff. Right now I'm constructing my private solar panels. I'm managing it all alone without the aid of my men. I am using the net as the only way to acheive that. I saw a really amazing website that explains how to build photovoltaic panels and wind generators. The web site explains all the steps needed for pv panel contruction.
I'm not sure about how correct the data given there iz. If some experts over here who have xp with these works can have a look and give your feedback in the page it would be grand and I'd extremely treasure it, cause I really like solar panel construction.
Tnx for reading this. You guys are the best.
Please do not stop writting blogs. I always surf this blog at least once in a week to get to know the real current news. If brother really stopped this noble act, we will really feel the absence of another true Malaysian blog. Keep writing no matter what they said. You're just voicing your opinion as a Malaysian!!!
Bro.... Dont stop writing!! We r with you!! We'll fight them till to the end, if they were to take action on you, after people power we show them Students Power!! How?
If you speak facts and not spinning lies, then continue to write!
vasan,
there are pros n cons to all our actions n decisions. in the end, it is all up to u my friend. stopping something dat u have put in so much effort, time and energy... but at the same time, there are consequences of writing a blog.
there are many that support u vasan. yet, we all need to think for our own sake.
hope dat u can reflect n make the right decision.
n, no, i dont think u shud stop writing. :)
i like ur views on diffrent political party..hey i' am 22 so it areal help when i vote later.
i want the best for my family members
Don't stop writing Vasan...at the same time, I hope you don't compromise or jeopardise your tertiary education which is also important for your future.
My opinion, nobody should stop you from writing, best you can do is to just write safely if you know what I mean ;)
hai dude, i think u should continue writing. there r not many brave people like u who knows how n where to voice out the things that u have been voicing out all this while. indirectly or directly, u r giving very good infos and opening our minds to many happenings out there.
i know we dont have freedom of speech here tough they say we live in a democrat country.... but then as long as there are people like u willing to voice out wrong doings, there are still hope.....
so dude my support is with u...
go go go man....
cheers,
JD
Hey, I am checking this blog using the phone and this appears to be kind of odd. Thought you'd wish to know. This is a great write-up nevertheless, did not mess that up.
