The Star reported that 236 medical graduates studying overseas under Public Service Department scholarships refused to return home to work. They are breaking the law by breached the terms in the contract they voluntarily signed. 40% vacancies for doctors at hospitals available nationwide. The students should grateful to the scholarship that have been given to them and I hope medical graduates will return to serve the people. Government spent around 1 million of taxpayer’s money for each student to further their studies to overseas, they are practically stealing the people’s money if they refuse to come back.
